Woven 3k (default option): Woven Carbon Fiber (Standard 2x2 or 3k) - the most common carbon fiber weave. 2x2 weave woven carbon fiber is the default if listing does not specify the pattern. Woven 3K carbon fiber is a lightweight and high-strength material made from bundles of 3,000 carbon filaments (referred to as "3K") that are woven into a fabric pattern, typically in a twill or plain weave. It offers excellent tensile strength, stiffness, and durability while maintaining a sleek, smooth appearance with a distinctive checkerboard pattern.
Forged (20% extra charge, made to order): Forged carbon fiber - a composite material made from randomly arranged, short carbon fiber strands combined with resin and compressed in a mold. Forged carbon fiber offers greater design flexibility compared to 3K woven carbon fiber, as it can be molded into more complex shapes without compromising structural integrity. Its random fiber orientation reduces weak points caused by the directional patterns in 3K weaves, enhancing impact resistance. Additionally, it has a unique aesthetic appeal, with a marbled texture that stands out from the uniform weave of 3K carbon fiber.
Honeycomb (20% extra charge, made to order): Honeycomb carbon fiber - combines woven 3K carbon fiber layers with a lightweight honeycomb weave, creating a sandwich structure that offers exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio. This configuration provides excellent rigidity, impact resistance, and thermal insulation, making it ideal for aerospace, automotive, and high-performance sporting applications. The honeycomb weave significantly reduces material weight while maintaining strength, making it a preferred choice for lightweight structural components.

About CMST Tuning
CMST Tuning uses Grade A one-piece carbon fiber sheets with a Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) skeleton for strength and durability (except on dry carbon products, since it is not needed). Because CMST Tuning uses one-piece sheets, so you will not see any broken lines or patterns. Rather, all you will notice is just one big consistent weave pattern. In addition to this, all CMST Tuning products use a strong clear coat finish. Clear coats are shiny and durable, and they give you the nice "wet" look as opposed to a duller look from gel coats. Lastly, all of CMST Tuning's carbon sheets are built into the mold, so they do not break and split like the ones where carbon is only wrapped around the skeleton.
Important Information:
-All CMST Tuning products come with a 6-month limited clear coat warranty.
CMST Tuning Parts, unless stated otherwise, may require re-use of some factory parts for a complete installation (for example, trunk lids, hoods for some applications will require re-using the factory license plate garnish)
To avoid pre-mature aging, it is important to keep your carbon fiber product clean. Minimize exposure to the sun, and wax when necessary. This is especially important for dry carbon products, which are sold RAW and need immediate protection upon receipt.
-For hoods, for legal purpose you may need to purchase some hood pins to ensure your new hood stays closed during high-speed or aggressive driving, even if your CMST Tuning hood features built-in latches.
Professional installation is always recommended if you are unsure of your abilities (make sure they check for fitment before starting the install). In some cases, drilling may be required.
-CMST Tuning parts are either made as " Vacuumed " carbon fiber. Wet carbon fiber has a shiny finish and is smooth. or made as "pre-preg" carbon fiber, is often more pricy but does have a better strength to weight ratio. Pre-preg carbon also has slightly better weave quality, and is less prone to very minor defects.
Carbon fiber doors are strictly for off road and track use only, due to possible safety issues.

All orders placed with Merchant (phone, fax, mail, text, verbal, or e-mail), either directly or through a dealer, constitute the acknowledgment and acceptance of all conditions listed below.
Shipping & Handling Timeframe
The shipping time quoted in the cart is estimated shipping time by shipping companies. Handling time varies from 1 to 7 business days. If an item is out of stock, there may be a waitlist on the item, or it may be made to order. Lead time for waitlisted items is made on a first come first serve basis. For made to order items, manufacturing time is generally around 2-4 weeks and transit time of 4-6 weeks.
Customers should contact the merchant BEFORE placing the order for the most accurate estimated shipping timeline. Expedite shipping is generally avaliable for additional cost.
Shipping & Handling Charges
The shipping cost quoted on the website by reflects the best estimate of shipping cost by said shipping companies. Customer must acknowledge that shipping or delivery method may differ from which is selected at time of purchase due to practical reasons.
Additional shipping costs may be assessed to reflect accurate real-world costs.
Customers must provide a commercial shipping address for oversized items which require freight shipping. Commerial Freight Shipping rates reflects the best estimate of shipping cost by freight companies shipped to a verified business address. Locations other than a business (residential home, apartment building, church, hospital, schools, military base, etc) will require additional fees. Example of fees are “residential delivery”, “liftgate delivery”, “inside delivery”, “limited access”.
In cases where a failed delivery attempt occurs, redelivery fees apply.
Deliveries
Merchant provides delivery service for parts of mainland United States. For practical reasons (insurance, safety, fraud, etc.), delivery service is preferred by most customers.
Most purchases of larger or fragile items are defaulted to "delivery" as shipping method. Lead time for delivery is subject to availability of trucks and drivers. Lead time is up to 4 weeks depending on locations of trucks and availability of drivers. The customer must contact the Merchant if a certain time frame is required.
International Orders (Outside of USA)
Customers are to be responsible for all local handling, local shipping, foreign shipping, broker fees, custom duties, import tariffs, paperwork fees, VAT, tax, and any other shipping associated fees.
Wire transfer is the preferred payment method for international orders.
Website engine does NOT accurately calculate shipping cost and time frame correctly for international orders. Customers are expected to contact the merchant BEFORE purchase for most accurate estimated shipping cost and timeline.
Damaged Items & Lost Packages
Merchant provides shipping insurance ONLY if customer opts-in for "PREMIUM SHIPPING PROTECTION". Protection covers items for damage during transit. For insurance to be valid, please do make sure to CHECK FOR SHIPPING DAMAGE "ON THE SPOT" while delivery driver is on site. Otherwise, your claim will be DECLINED. If there is shipping damage, let the delivery driver MARK DOWN the damage ON THE SPOT (please make sure to take photos and keep the box) and REJECT the package.
Covers:
- Damages during transit.
- Damages identified at time of delivery.
- Lost during transit.
Does not cover:
- Lost after delivery. Some common examples are "I was not home", "I did not sign for it", "It was left outside", or "It was delivered to the wrong address".
- Damages found after items have been "delivered". Coverage will be declined if damage is found after carrier already delivers the item.
- Customer failed to inspect at time of delivery. Some common examples are "I was not home", or "driver was in a big rush", or "driver did not let me inspect", or "somebody else received it".
- 3rd party receiver failed to inspect at time of delivery. Some common examples are "somebody at the bodyshop received it", or "It was left at the front desk".
* Customers are responsible for their package once an item has been delivered. Please ensure that the package is in a secure environment upon delivery.
** Bodyshops are known to break items during installation. If damage is not identified AT TIME OF DELIVERY, please TAKE YOUR COMPLAINT TO THE BODYSHOP.
*** Bodyshops are known to lose items while items are "just sitting there", or "never touched them". If missing items are not identified AT TIME OF DELIVERY, please TAKE YOUR COMPLAINT TO THE BODYSHOP.
